• Iguana Bay Resort

The Iguana Bay Resort project to be developed on Guanaja Island, the most eastern of the Bay islands, is set on one of the most beautiful sites in the Caribbean. It’s concept not only takes full advantage of the extremely high quality of it’s natural surroundings, but should become the trademark of Honduras’ model of sustainable tourism, known as “Geoturism”. A tourism that sustains or enhances the geographical character of the place being visited, its environment, culture, aesthetics, heritage and provides the visitor a unique sense of place.

The project comprises a luxury hotel and residential resort adjacent to the sea along a 1,5 km stretch of white sand. The hotel pavilions suites, will be set in lush tropical gardens connected by walkways to the reception and other facilities. The hotel pavilions will comprise approximately 100 keys.

Several large swimming pools and luxury tennis courts will complement the facilities. A 1000 m2 spa will be available for massages, beauty treatments, gym, yoga, and meditation.

Close to the hotel, surrounding an exceptional and breathtaking 18 hole golf course, par 72 6700 m, shall be built 30 luxury fully equipped villas with their own extensive grounds, sea views and swimming pools. 20 Beach villas will have both a view onto the golf course and their own private beaches. Villa owners will have the option of joining a villa management scheme enabling their property to be let to hotel clients.
